Blahh. We can never get any good rain. Always a rain shield around us. Look at this bull. Sure we did have a heavy donwpour earlier but that isn't enough. Welcome spring as the trees are already growing their leaves back which is earlier than last year.

You don't need any rain. That river you're crying is more than enough to flood Waycross as it is.

Dang, I really feel for you!  To be that close to all this gold, and can't get it to come in....dang.  Well, you'll be pleased to know last year Tenn was getting all the rain, and N.Ga next, then me squat, and you squat minus.  Then N Atl. got the rain and I got squat plus, and you got squat.  So now I'm getting good rain, and you'll be getting squat plus soon, I should think :)             Hmmmm....well, now I look at that map, I wonder if it might be Chris's rain hole... that he dragged over here a few years back...and then it snowed on him all day one day while the sun was out here.  If he's getting rain then you may be in trouble, lol.

I've gotten 4.6 so far, down below they are talking 8 to 10.  It's coming man, I just hope it gets in there before fire season.   T

Yeah we need before fire season. Look at the latest drought map. Should be updated tomorrow and most of SW GA and N and C GA should have improved significantly while we don't change here.

Metal, you do know that when the swamp gets to burning all those gators and pythons come into town, don't you.  I remember back in 83 they were pulling folks out of gator  belly's for weeks and weeks.  The smoke was so thick you couldn't see them, and you walk or drive right into a gators mouth!  True story. The old folks would tell us young'ns to stay a way from Waycross if the swamp is burning.   We'd have to drive through Ala. to get to the east coast.  T

Welp now I'll be thinking about this all spring. It had to be extremely thick then. Here in 2011 it was thick smoke all summer and spring.
