I just don't see this one happening guys, the easterlies from the Atlantic will be too much for this storm to overcome. In the end the sun angle will evaporate anything that falls and what rain makes it to the ground will dry up on impact due to the radiating heat. In typical NC winter storm fashion, it's topping out at around 60 degrees with full sunshine in the day prior to the storm. The sun angle may play a role, too. Every time the news anchors hand off to weather, they have to go through a whole, forced, fake, obligatory giggle-fest. It's on the verge of driving me to my dermatologist. Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed the "ha-ha-ha, ho-ho-ho, hee-hee" routine? I mean, is it written into their contracts that they have to carry on that way? It ain't in Jeff Gravley's contract. Sports guys don't play that crap. They try to seduce Gravley into a giggle-fest, and he just looks at them like, "Yeah, whatever..."
