frostfern
I just got rocked 5-10 minutes ago. Really CLOSE lightning strikes with a few peas mixed in with the rain. Don't think I've ever heard so much thunder right overhead in the month of January. Driveway is completely flooded now.
stormtrackertf
Nice loud clap of thunder just now accompanied by a streak of lightning. At about 5:45 when I was driving through Downtown Detroit I saw a really vibrant cloud-to-ground lightning strike. Very wet day so far.

frostfern
Storm total right around 2 inches IMBY. Highest totals to the NW. Muskegon closing in on 3 inches. Muskegon had around an inch of water in the snowpack as well. 4 inches of water is a lot for the hard winter ground to deal with all at once.
