Yawn from Box...

400 PM update... forecast continues on track for the rest of the afternoon. Coastal front set-up looks minimal as buoy are gusting out of the north/north-northwest right now. With low undergoing cyclogenesis...believe winds will only get stronger and therefore the thought of coastal low norlun trough seems minimal. Main forcing for these snow showers is the easterly flow at 925mb & 820mb. In fact latest 925 mb VAD wind profile is switching more out of the NE and therefore believe snow showers will begin a SW track towards the South Shore/cape and islands. Satellite and radar showers perhaps a mesovortex headingtowards the cape as of 4pm. A few flurries are possible as far west as 495 and into Rhode Island. Very little accumulations are possible as temperature dewpoint spread is still quite large. May see a dusting up to an inch for the remainder of the afternoon. Believe snowfall for the northeastern half of mass will begin to dwindle down over the next several hours.
