Mr Torchey
That band south of LI isn't even moving really. I'll shave my goatee if it starts snowing here. Kevin is just having fun, check out mt holly radar norlun is just about kissing the central nj coast, rare time where it kept moving sw on guidance and not northeast they should do ok down there. powderfreak
Most folks only need another half inch or so to get there You need to work in ski resort marketing... we could use your spin. Reports of T-0.5" around SNE and almost verifying a 1-3" forecast. That's like getting 4" on an 8-12" forecast.

If many places get to an inch it verifies. Let's not spike ballz in endzones till Superbowl is over

Mr Torchey
Nam looks good for the cape and eastern mass, model has completely lost the norlun for nyc ct..........in the end eastern mass crew wins, enjoy the snow guys!

My favorite stuff. Mostly nobody has talked about it and in the end it turns out to be more significant than the storms snows. I barely had a coating last night. mattb65
Hope the NAM is right about the OES - flurries here also, but the NAM gives us some prolonged measurable all afternoon, it would be great to have weenie flakes and occasional light snow all afternoon. Clinch Leatherwood
Band is really expanding fast. Snowing here. Difficulty is how far inland? Penetration may be tough much beyond the coast. The big push is coming from cape ann to Scott right now. Lets see if the better returns can make it in a few miles. IMO the nam is advertising a fairly significant OES event but borderline whether it makes it onto land beyond flurries. We will see soon.

I agree the nam looks great, nada down this way and that mini norlun has run out of gas approaching Jersey.........this would be awesome if scooter pulled 2-4 and the rest of us enjoyed a sunny super bowl sunday.........mostly sunny 24 here. Mini edited. It's right on the coast. Nam literally could mean flurries on the coast with snow falling a mile or so offshore most of the day. Will just have to wait and see

Clinch Leatherwood
Yukon Cornelius made a good point about this wrecking the skating Also means more car washing A quarter inch does not an inch maketh This one was a big Dolly Parton bust down here so far. I wasn't close to the 1-2 or 2-4 advertised. Yet. Just dirtied up the roads and messed up the ice. Rockport in on the good stuff now. Scituate about to get hit too. Best stuff building offshore and targeting the south shore and cape ann
CoastalWx
That band won't really get to my area with any significance. That's ern PYM county from Hull to Marshfield right now.

If it makes it ashore I think it'll end up being more than that by a couple of times. That's an intense band forming just off Scituate: But so far not much making it on land. Stuff heading west up off cape Ann to Boston looks good
