Qvector has been an all star this winter.

Fireman thanks for the report. Enjoy your stay!

ya and i copied and posted what mike ventrice was saying in phil medium range thread to our mid/late feb disco thread.

he sides with the ec ens torch and gives reason why the gfs in his opinion is mishandling things.

if this winter is gonna suck it mine as well suck right to the canadian border.

Is Mike the QV? His stuff has been exceptional this winter. Particularly amazed by the tracking of features around the globe and timing out their arrival in NA. Awesome stuff.

One narrowing band of decent snow, holes appearing just to me west. This is the worst of these systems so far in terms of real snows here.

no he's different guy. not sure if this is the majority opinion yet, haven't dug deep enuf. but philly med range thread is always a great source of info

may be a flake or two out n of bos tonite, i really cant make them out

What he posted seems pretty logical and well documented. I don't buy the gfs, in simple terms I think it's too cold and maybe mike has spelled out how it gets to that outcome.

I'm on the good side of this very anemic band of snow. Have not made even .2" yet and it's been at it for most of the night.

rombalski is in that narrow little area getting some snow in medway, ma.  the poster over in charlton mass was as well, ditto poster in oxford,ma

here in wakefield there looks like someone with a tight grip on their wallet has a salt shaker and is pouring it very sparingly . but alas there is somethin fallin out of the clouds for last 15 mins.

looks like caution flags is about to be "under the 20dbz gun" in about 15 min

Just drove from Raynham up to the 24/93 split in Randolph. Even though radar indicates nothing decent south of Randolph, 24 was well covered (for a highway) from Bridgewater up to Randolph. Nice big snowflakes too. Not excited but I already have a dusting this early on. Therefore I may over perform with a heavy dusting instead of just a mere dusting as I was expecting, lol. Thats provided I get anything else after this band rots.

Approaching 50 pages. Heh.

Well this winter storm is wrapping up. Coating here. I don't think we see much more here unless we do get the OES and there's no reason to believe the gfs/nam are right about conditions 12-14 hours from now when they've been pretty bad at that range most of the winter. Rgem would dust us again later Sunday.

You guys are funny. It's not cutter central and

Nobody said that. The period around the 10th which we mentioned for days will be ugly. After that it cools off with srn stream action that means both warm and cold solutions perhaps. The euro ensemsbles have actually cooled.

20 pages of you arguing with HM and stating the obvious about this storm.

Anyway beautiful dusting here, overachiever.

No save that for March when we finally get a wet pattern and a 6" QPF month, but its all 35-40 degree rainstorms, lol.

Well, the "events" lately have all been pathetic in terms of modelling from way out, so it is nlt like we have been Charlie Browned much. Anyone who thought this would be bringing the goods has been overly optimistic. Other than the cutter it has been very boring lately.

The skiing had been good until Weds though.
