Maybe you can hit 16dBZ.

I'm getting spanked with the 10dbz right now.  If it snowed like this for the rest of the month I'd get 1".

Movie time but RAP has the same feature as the RGEM/NAM.  It's outside it's range but can see some precip backing SW towards morning.  Will have to watch someone between Scott, me, Phil and Ptown may be in line for several hours of snows of varying intensity once this main batch moves off.

So happy, totally content if this would be it...........great JEB walk out here.

The lack of winter the past two years has truly shifted perspectives...there's barely a dusting in that photo. We have maybe 0.5" in Dobbs Ferry, and the radar shows the heavier echoes sliding SE of us. I agree that it's nice to see snow, but I'm getting a little bored with these dusting events.

Remember when we had real snow in 10-11 and 09-10?

Hey Tubes, honestly I really do not care, this is a blessing, end up with an inch or two over 24 hours and I am content with that. Perhaps its old age or perhaps its the fact that BDR is at 147% of normal snowfall so far this winter.  10-11 is once in a couple decade type stuff, I know where I live, I know my climo..........every flake should be cherished, you never know when its your last.  Besides there is not a breath of wind, when you walk under the street light its a zillion tiny dendrites cascading down from the heavens and pure baby powder.

No greedy here.

Has Capecodweeniewx given up?

NCEP stuff just not good at all most of the time this winter Scott?  I mean really bad, SREFs too.  GEFS/GFS total fail on this one which I think we all knew anyway.

Well from you down to me and Phil it could get interesting Sunday.  GFS has the back down moisture too as does the RGEM.  RGEM keeps it right on the coast, NAM a little further inland and GFS the most.  We will see if we get lucky could be a few hours of good banding.

Snowing in T town. Looking forward to 24 hours if light snow.

Back edge moving SE from the Albany radar, this batch will end from NW to SE across the entire area with the back edge coming through RI by 2-4am.

EDIT: The RGEM was pretty good last time with the inverted trough placement. It just barely gets precip onto the coast. GFS/NAM probably overdoing it, and we'll end up seeing it mainly offshore. Will believe when we see time of thing.

This snow is not accumulating really at all here, been snowing for 45 minutes and I wouldn't call it a coating yet.
