SouthCoastMA
18z op looks pretty close to 12gefs mean surprised none of the mesoscale models aren't quite as robust as the GFS. Unless it's just completely out to lunch.

USCAPEWEATHERAF
Shortwave over AR continues to dig ESEward over time, digging further south then any model has indicated. I believe this in turn will buckle the flow along the East Coast becoming meridonial with time. RAP moisture field at 700mb suggests decent lift will come through tomorrow. This is at the same time a potential low pressure begins to develop south of Nantucket and east of DE. Models are honing in on the idea that the low will take a trip out to sea before coming ashore in Nova Scotia as a powerhouse low (970mb). Blizzard conditions are possible for Western Nova Scotia as potent 500mb shortwave develops a closed H5 low expect conditions to have a longer duration as well, but with time lack of atlantic moisture will soon cut off the super powerhouse low (959mb) moisture field. As for the effects in town, I anticipate some of the region gettiing clipped with light accumulating snows maybe 2" for Outer Cape Cod, MA and 4" for Nantucket, MA. Areas further inland will see a coating to 1" of snow accumulation. Folks this is just not our storm this time around. Models have been adament about turning this low seaward. However this is a spot reserved in the back of my mind to stay vigilant with this system as the vort maxes are being under modeled and misplaced and could spell potential danger for tomorrow if they don't correct themselves. With that said, I will keep you ahead of the storm.

USCAPEWEATHERAF
This shortwave over AR has me quite worried, it continues on a track to the ESE with no turn in sight, models have really been too progressive with the whole flow and its buckling with clouds seen moving SSW to NNE over the eastern US. Tropopause_Fold
The GEFS members are surprisingly robust with the snow signal tomorrow. I know it. It's strange.
USCAPEWEATHERAF
The GEFS members might be seeing the further southeast shortwave over AR. Its moving more south then east and will be ready for capture around Cape Hatteras, NC tomorrow.

SR Airglow
Light snow has commenced in stamford, dusting OTG so far. Still liking my 2-4" call by tomorrow night, especially since NORLUN's like to form a bit NE of where they are modeled, so the current location over NYC is right where I want it to be. If the norlun dissapears/shifts in later runs will cut back to 1-3" -skisheep
