euro is .19" at CHH - but as rollo mentioned earlier it's over a looooonnnng time getting to that. it's not march so that wouldn't mean melting but not a "fun way" to get to 2" of snow. lol.

 

Yeah, I think it's prolonged light snow or flurries.  I think a dusting to an inch or two should do it for most everyone but I may be wrong.

Kev's norlun going north just went south on the 18z NAM.

btv 12z meso shows nyc area sw ct getting some enhanced precip. a few .25+ areas.

 

looks like bos won't be over 9 inches after this non event.

 

Starting to show up on radar now. Lot's of work to do for .25", but we shall see. Nice deep layer RH also on 12z GFS as this approaches this evening....makes it somewhat believable...

Nowcasting models don't have a clue with the vort maxes all around.  One is far south into central AR and another one is in far western SD diving SSEward instead of the modeled SEward.  Trough is swinging negatively as vort max rounds the base of the trough, it slows down allowing the second vort max to catch it and phase with it off shore.
