Clinch Leatherwood
euro is .19" at CHH - but as rollo mentioned earlier it's over a looooonnnng time getting to that. it's not march so that wouldn't mean melting but not a "fun way" to get to 2" of snow. lol. Yeah, I think it's prolonged light snow or flurries. I think a dusting to an inch or two should do it for most everyone but I may be wrong. Kev's norlun going north just went south on the 18z NAM. WeatherX
btv 12z meso shows nyc area sw ct getting some enhanced precip. a few .25+ areas. looks like bos won't be over 9 inches after this non event. Starting to show up on radar now. Lot's of work to do for .25", but we shall see. Nice deep layer RH also on 12z GFS as this approaches this evening....makes it somewhat believable... Baroclinic Zone
I hope everyone has the same, besides the norlun events are impossible to predict, total now casting event.. I don't think this inverted trough has moved much on modeling in the past day or so. Has been pegging the NNJ area up to SW CT.
USCAPEWEATHERAF
Nowcasting models don't have a clue with the vort maxes all around. One is far south into central AR and another one is in far western SD diving SSEward instead of the modeled SEward. Trough is swinging negatively as vort max rounds the base of the trough, it slows down allowing the second vort max to catch it and phase with it off shore. Clinch Leatherwood
Hey how about that coastal mixing? Two bad winters and everyone is losing the show. Who was forecasting coastal mixing this time? I have a mix of sun and clouds right now, is that what people meant?

Clinch Leatherwood
Noyes. What a weenie. It is a little perplexing that people keep biting on the left solutions of the American guidance (and the usual token 1-2 runs of the Euro).
