Ginx snewx
Yeah I'm just looking forward to an event to cover the grass again...and with any luck, maybe we pull off solid advisory or even low end warning, but my expectations are below that scenario. There's a lot of things that have to go right to get a bigger storm. Ten days with some events thrown in, hoping for one big one

Ginx snewx
Your wife has been saying that for years now. LOL true dat. I just would like some cover for a while. I think we are getting back to a much stormier pattern and climo says we get some goods. Full restart and a 2-4 would be a good way to begin
ORH_wxman
You lost all of your snow? Probably, but I havent been home since yesterday. Stayed over in Natick last night. I may still have patches in the protected areas...esp since Hubbdave said he still had some cover in spots.

Clinch Leatherwood
Yeah I could see that - I meant more relative to the op. Makes sense. I'm just concerned that the chutes and ladders pattern is still here even with the stronger s/w the system could get scooped ne as the whole trough slides east. In short it could be a repeat of earlier systems but with a stronger s/w we can hopefully get precip further west. I think the gfs may be too far west still. We will see

I don't think this will go as far seaward as the past ones but that overall thought has to be factored in.

Indeed Harvey seemed very conservative if I heard correctly just talking about light snow limited to se areas.I would rather take that approach and have to pedal towards higher amounts than have to go the other way. GGEM being so flat is bothersome. Hoping the 0z seals the deal now that the cutter is moving out of the way. If I had to put a number on it, probably be the same old dusting to 2" or maybe 1-3" here pending 0z guidance. Basically would do what Harv did and dust over it until later tonight. Yeah I know and it's too early to put a number on it , just wanted to characterize the general thought. I don't think my feelings are much different than what I just heard from Harv. Most mets seems to be in the fool me three times mode and going conservative.

weathafella
It would not be unreasonable for models to have a 50 mile error at this time frame. 50 miles closer and it's a widespread warning event. 50 miles further and it's a few inches for the islands and part of the cape.
