Does everyone else's town DPW do this on FB?Great stuff

FYI We are out assessing the roads there are power lines down with trees across in wires Unfortunately CL&P got called to emergency calls priority ones which takes their crew out of tolland

Stafford does that but doesn't promote someone elses commercial endeavor with tax dollars or force people to sign-up with a service that doesn't have to follow basic privacy laws.  :P

Power went out here about 0430.  Looks like I had some gusts over 45, but they may have been higher.  My anemometer is not the best.  No trees or branches down from what I can tell.  CL&P says restoration within 3 hours.  We'll see how that goes.

Would be pretty useless here as we are one of the 9 towns in western Mass that doesn't have high speed internet (no cable or DSL, only satellite).  The one  exception is for my little road for reasons unbeknownst to all.  Though, I guess poeple can access over their phones

Looks like some type of line just east of Albany.  Perhaps that will bring some gusts with it.

Temp continuing to dip down here to 50.9/50.  The still warm temps and light rains may yet do in the remaining snow cover.  Regardless, once you have patches, you're essentially starting over anyway.  Too bad that so far the most memorable part of the 2012-13 winter for many people have been winds with 60* temps, ftl.
