According to the HRRR, eastern MA should be cranking between 11 and 13z. That's when the core of the LLJ passes overhead and the front will be close enough to promote a little more mixing. HRRR still bearish on the 10 m gusts, but you can see a nice area of 50-60 kt sustained 80 m winds. Plus the 850 mb color curve is maxed out!

Do you think that will be able to maintain itself throughout the course of the journey?  Could be interesting if that taps into some of that MUcape that is in place.  

 

 

To some extent yes, it's such a strong front that there will be convection along it. Whether it's SVR worth for SNE is another story. The HWWs are out, so there is a bit of a redundancy for putting a SVR out. If you'll notice that NJ SVR is in an advisory not a warning currently.

Yeah with the HWW in place they may just not go with any SVR's unless there was indication of destructive winds (probably like 70-75+ gusts) and that doesn't appear very likely.
