weatherwiz
Fast, but think about what is forcing these convective elements. That 100 kt LLJ. The jets are insane with this system! I still can't get over that 135-145 kt MLJ streak...that's something you very rarely ever see.

wxsniss
Anyone notice 0.5 base reflectivity echoes appear more grainy tonight? I'm seeing this on multiple sources, and from multiple radar sites (kbox, kokx, kdix) Most of the echoes are moving at NE at > 70 kts... does speed of storms effect range gate or in some other way alter appearance of echoes?
