das
Thick glaze on everything. Very icy morning. Main roads are fine, secondary and neighborhoods not so much. Still below freezing here. Still below freezing in Clarksburg (31.4F) at 12:15pm. Things look like a dreary winter wonderland. Treated roads with little traffic are slushy. Sidewalks and driveways are ice covered. Primary treated roads are wet. I am no good at measuring ice accretion so I won't even hazard a guess.

Herb@MAWS
Drove Columbia-to-SE DC around 11am. Roads were fine and traffic wasn't too bad either except for a backup on Kenilworth Ave.
WxUSAF
Nice to wash a little salt off the roads. There was so much on the roads the last couple days that literally cars had rooster tails of salt dust. Visibility on highways was noticeably reduced by how much was in the air. I'm OK with keeping people safe on the roads, but the amount of crap dumped on the roads in the name of safety around here sickens me.

Yes that was overkill, but part of my understands because plowing cannot occur below 2" of snow. The plow blade would just rip the street up. Deck Pic
My patio and steps were coated with ice and slush. Otherwise pretty standard. DCA apparently recorded 0.1" from this event
