Actually closer to an inch on closer inspection. I'll wait till it's over to get another measurement. Whatever it is will have to include the 0.2" that melted during the lull. hawkeye_wx Posted January 30, 2013 Share Posted January 30, 2013 I finished with about 6 inches of snow. I melted down the snow that fell into the 4" diameter rain gauge and got 0.42" liquid. Then I melted down a core sample and got 0.61". Yikes. I was hoping the difference wouldn't be so big.
