Geos
That band in WI sure crapped out quick. Unless the radar is playing tricks again. Good news Sch.Stormer! Nice little icicles starting to form.

Minnesota Meso
So there's another low hiding somewhere downstate or there is supposed to be? Steady -SN outside now. Goes, this snow seems be a product of the 700mb trough axis setting up over that area.
Geos
Haha^. That town has their own personal snow magnet, just like Madison does! Time to move north or west! I hope the trough axis can dish something out.

Nice little icicles starting to form. Looks like it completely collapsed. That was weird. Larger flakes have broken up as the wind has picked up. Snow getting drier, and what little there is is starting to blow around a little. Ground dusted back up again.

Luftfeuchtigkeit
6.0", 1.0" last 2 hours. Light to moderate snow. For the moment the sun is visible behind clouds and wind has slacked off. Snow actually not too hard to measure still, not much variability in the measurements I took.

Nice to hear you got something on the ground! TMJ4's radar shows the band in WI and the batch in NC IL connecting up as it comes east. @ Alek. Shows a mix as close as Evanston.
