ict1523
Money, all we needed was the SW winds to kick up. 60F in the park. Almost made it through January without hitting 60F. I thought we were in the clear.
pazzo83
Almost made it through January without hitting 60F. I thought we were in the clear. I was all for keeping the streak of hitting 60F or higher every month alive. Last month to fail to reach 60F was Jan 2011 (of course).
Absolute Humidity
Wind is dead... Both ACY and BLM have recorded 51 mph gusts. It's plenty windy here along the shore. Per Ray in Philly thread, 72 and 67mph recorded in Delaware. That's pretty windy. JCP&L reporting about 13,000 customers without power.

I'm waiting for another month where we don't break 50. I'll probably be waiting a while unless I move north.

famartin
Parents in Ewing have gusted to 38. I know that doesn't sound like much... but in Sandy it only gusted to 43! (though that was an east wind while this is southerly, and there isn't a whole patch of woods blocking winds from the south, just scattered trees). SnoSki14
Getting very strong wind gusts right now still a few hours before the frontal passage, could get dicey soon especially if that nasty squall line holds and comes through.
