Vandy
So, despite us having yet another pitiful snow year on the Front Range here in Colorado, there's still snow to be had. In this snowshoe/hike, we went up to the northern Indian Peaks Wilderness and explored the area for a while. There are some amazing peaks all around, but for my money, the star of the show is the "lowly" (12,304ft) Sawtooth Mountain. It's a stunning peak from almost any angle. Check out the halo! Vandy
Thanks! Believe it or not, it was pretty warm. Near freezing most of the day, which is very warm for the CO high country in January. It started snowing some on our way out though, which was nice!
