Even a 20" February wouldn't be enough to redeem the winter as a whole. I'd enjoy it very much, but it would't change a bad winter into a good one. It would take something exceptional like a Feb 2008 here (I'm thinking Feb 2010(?) is a good example for you) to do that.

Even considering the GHD screw job, I'd take a 2011 type of February any time.

We had two surprise snowstorms that month, one dumped 4-6" (the one that the models never catched on to following the GHD Blizard, when nothing was expected as of the prior night) and the President's Day Storm that dumped a surprise 8-10", which was looking like a massive ice storm not even 24 hours earlier.

And although this winter is/was still bad, it is/was a marked improvement from last year's disaster. I don't think we had any LES events last season like yesterday, and we sure didn't have a 6"+ snowstorm.
