The mid atlantic is not a good place to live for weather enthusiasts. we get all types of weather and can hit pretty high end on most types.. but our normal of most types is pretty blah.. this spring/summer has just had a lot of low coverage events. some spots doing ok.. others meh. Ellinwood Posted August 7, 2013 Share Posted August 7, 2013 Couple of See Texts for the northern parts of the region with good directional shear and some instability on both days, but mid-level lapse rates and weak speed shear are hurting us again.
