If there's a 30% chance of 2+ tornadoes, that means there's a 70% chance of 0-1 tornadoes. So if there's no tornadoes, is it a bust?

 

We go over this every year.

I remember it well. It had been below zero imby a couple of days before, then we got over 2" of rain on top of a 2' deep snowpack in western Md.  Then it went right back to snowy for the next several weeks.

A little inflow notch, it should get sheared out in a few minutes by the 100kt winds at 850mb

1.70 in. up here. Drove home from the dance studio in a downpour. It was hard to see the road with the rain and occasional fog.

No severe weather up this way (Frederick) but nice rains today.  Just about 1.50" for the day.  My Vantage Vue recorded a rain rate of 7.20 in/hr at 2:26 PM when that line came through.  Highest rate I've recorded.
