SnowGoose69
1.3" the end. Amazing sky tonight too. Snow covered ground, the moon dimly shining through a light overcast sky. I remember when that used to be a remark in the old METAR code often after snow events "MOON DMLY VSBL"

jm1220
A little over 2" to end it in Long Beach. Grass and surfaces are all covered up again and we even had some snow-on-snow as we had some left over after Monday Night's event. Better than I thought it would be, every small win counts in a winter like this.
Absolute Humidity
.06 liquid to 1.7" snow. If my math is correct, that's 1" liquid to 28" snow ratio. It's quite possible not all of the snow made into the gauge.
famartin
I will say, Trenton got what I expected (Originally I had 1-3" (so ~2" forecast if you had to pin a number on it), then adjusted to coating-2" (so ~1" forecast)) with 1.3", but ratios were a bit better than I expected at 22:1. It's quite possible not all of the snow made into the gauge. I definitely noticed some nice, dendrite flakes in the snow here, we made a lot happen with the miniscule liquid we had. The flakes initially were tiny but to end it we had larger flakes which tacked onto the heavier intensity but tinier flakes to start. I think most of us made the best out of what conditions we had in terms of snow.

Also a stand up job to the local WFO's who nailed this down to the exact one hundredth of a liquid inch.

Hailstorm
Nicest event since 11/7. I actually saw 1" of snow undergoing some blowing and drifting. I just wish we had received the liquid equivalent of .5" that most of the models were advertising on Tuesday. If that was the case, then NYC probably would have had about a foot using 25:1 ratios. Sampson
Best under two inch storm in recent history IMO. It's nice to see every bit of moisture transfer to the surface so easily, and it was great to whiten up the landscape after such a chilly week. It really ties it all together for those of us that were dealing with brown grass. I'm a bitter cold fan so this week gets an A from me.
