Not as extreme as last time but we should be in the jackpot (if you can call it that) again I know. Only problem I see is the precip is starting to move more east than north. NEG NAO Posted January 25, 2013 Share Posted January 25, 2013 A few flakes at 6:01 PM... are you talking about outside or in here ?- anyways the timing and duration on this event is a total bust - whoever said in the other thread that this would be over by 7 is going to be very close with that call in many areas.............roads are really getting slippery the GSP which I can see in the distance has reduced speeds both directions close to 40 mph... I was in a fairly serious car accident last weekend (no injuries but moderate damage to my car while suv I hit had nothing) so I'm be really careful driving tonight. They dumped on my (side) street Monday and the road is just wet despite being under a nice moderate spike currently (check the radar the only one there over SE Nassau) Other then that it looks to be a slow climb to an inch.
