Getting slammed with heavy freezing rain here in Crossville. Sleet pellets are occasionaly mixing in. The roads are a mess and by my estimates at least a quarter of an inch of ice on the trees and power lines. Satelite is aready out. Fingers crossed the power stays on.

This may be shaping up to be the worst ice storm I've seen here.

Yikes. Hang in there. Thanks for the report.

High and dry at 25 in Dahlonega.

This was this is looking I will be surprised if I end up with .05" QPF.

Have some faith, perhaps it'll begin backbuilding towards the south.  It's really a shame to waste this cold of a wedge though.  I've spoken to a couple of our patients who have seen a couple of spinouts around the Gainesville area.  What has fallen has immediately frozen.....now just need to get some QPF over here.

I wish that would happen for sure but I'm having my doubts.  Just saw my quoted post and dad gum on my wording.  Many times what I'm thinking doesn't always end up being typed out.  My post made no sense.
