NorEastermass128
I'm barely past my October '11 total. Wow. Didn't realize how bad it's been up there too. Hopefully Feb delivers.
Clinch Leatherwood
Yeah maybe a coating here lol. Little better, kind of where I thought the NAM was going early before the wheels came off that wagon. If one squints really hard the 18z RGEM was a little better too. There's still a little time for it to get a little better, someone wake me up this time Friday.
Clinch Leatherwood
Harv has most of you in a dusting to 1" but said probably nothing, has me and the cape and extreme south coast in a dusting to 2". Seems very reasonable.

Clinch Leatherwood
0z NAM tick toks right out to sea. Questionable as to even getting flurries. When they go bad this year they go bad.
shawnmov
I've changed the oil on my snowblower more than I've used it (one times) in the past two years. Even that one time was negligible. WTF.

Clinch Leatherwood
Messenger can't let this one go. 5 days of non stop posting for partly cloudy. We're in a rut. 5 and 4 days ago I was skiing down a mountain jerry and made comparatively few posts a day It just feels like it was 5 days ago because there's been over 170 pages of posts for a total of .4 or so in Boston over the course of 3 events. I wouldn't have started a thread for this one at any point, but that's just me. In the end even my pessimistic outlook on this one may be too optimistic. Clinch Leatherwood
wow, this thread exists, huh - About 170 pages for virtually no snow in any of the major cities....lol. Probably should get a thread fired up for 1/31 soon though. you are still checking models? Not really, quick look...GFS and Euro are still close enough to keep it a little interesting to the east. Weak lift moving through on the GFS and maybe some reverse OES later Friday into Friday night on SW winds.

This GFS run tries desperately ... true. But, the flow looks too stretched. Not enough ridging along that critical longitude out west - this run tries to make up for it by having a near historically strong S/W digging like a-bomb mining site, but it's probably just noise at this range. Yeah. What do you make or the sw flow in advance? Some OES off the water from the south maybe? Surface to 850mb is fairly well aligned. The problem again is a bunch of little circulations embedded in the general s/w trough that don't come together until way too late. It's still going to be close. Saw your comment earlier about the humidifier. Get one going it'll help!
