Main roads are clear, secondary roads that have been treated are good, but neighborhood roads are very slick.  Drifted about 4 ft on a very low speed right turn on a downhill.

Very glad that the morning snow verified.  Would have been disappointing for it all to fall overnight.

I should have gone to bed earlier. I managed to sleep through 98% of the good part.

I only slept for like 90 minutes....I feel like if i punt these inch events it is bad karma....so I made myself stay up for -SN...which was awesome....but it better pay off at some point

I hate night snow but I didnt plan well.

Couple of verification pics. The obligatory deck rail photos/ruler. The first dark mark is 2". It looked like 1 5/8" but will just go with 1.5. I def need a new ruler. attachicon.gifImageUploadedByTapatalk1359032910.731981.jpg attachicon.gifImageUploadedByTapatalk1359032932.528866.jpg

Confirmed. I am measuring more in some spots. But I am going with 1.5 as well. Nice event. And good call Ian.

Still snowing lightly in Burke, with the occasional less light burst. I woke up for a baby feeding at 2 and everything was white, got up for another at 6 and measured just under 1.25". Haven't measured again, but we may have added .25" since then. We've been lucky to be in the path of those "streaming" returns coming from the NW.
