Jebman
Back edge is starting to roar. I'm thankful that I got a third of an inch of snow. I am NOT FRUCKIN' thankful that the superband missed us to the damn south!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enough already! Statistically speaking, we should have managed a three or four inch climo size snowstorm by now. I am sick and tired of every storm going south!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bob Chill
Nice little burst rotating down. Nice sized flakes too. Haven't got to an inch yet but should be close by dawn.

Jebman
Just measured - Half of an inch of fluffy snow. Neighbor just drove by - I got my very first look at the steady light snow in headlights - no streetlights at all where i live - this is a horrific economic depression, lights have not been fixed in 7 years where I live, man i was just stunned. Falling snow in upper teens/low 20s weather is sparkling. This is the biggest snow I have ever seen this winter. I am beside myself with joy - Half an inch of snow!!!! Demeter
School's closed in Fredericksburg, I am in Richmond working so am unsure how much we got at home, but closing for an inch would be a little excessive.

mitchnick
eyeballing an inch here BWI seems to have received the highest qpf thru 5AM with .06" still snowing lightly, though BWI posted a mod snow ob overnight sad to see the Euro and GFS still dry for Fri
smokeybandit
Looks to be upwards of an inch here. But for the morning commute for the first snow of the year, an inch might as well be a foot on the roads

Swiscaster
Just took a Jebwalk; nice, steady snow falling down, everything sparkling in the streetlights! Not bad! I forget that even just about an inch of snow can change the entire landscape to something much better than the usual. Wish I wasn't about to go to work so that I could stay home and shovel!
