MDstorm
Steady snow with everything covered in white. May get an inch out of this clipper. MDstorm
Fozz
Very light, fine snow with a light dusting most visible on driveways. It's hardly even showing up on radar but it's there.
wxmeddler
heaviest snow of the event so far....0.3"....1" should be easy Just measured the same thing. 0.3" so far. Everything white except grass, which is still poking out.
Jebman
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359011334.838329.jpg Every once in a while a small green blob of energy appears to my west and I have hope for heavier snow. Then the small green blob joins its big green brother as depicted above. Of course it is well to my south. Enjoy all the heavier snow, Fredericksburg! You are in the sweet spot with 3-4 inches of fluffy snow! Shovel some for poor old Jeb!

joelhousman
I uploaded a few more photos just now. West End Alexandria, at Cameron Station. The new photos start at the 8th photo into the slideshow. I'd estimate we're at .2 or .3 inches now. http://www.flickr.com/photos/joelhousman/sets/72157632594612373/

wxmeddler
That power plant just to the NE of BWI is in perfect position with onshore flow, dendritic growth layer close to the ground and a already wet environment to enhance snow.

ravensrule
17 pages for a clipper that is going to give most on here 1" and almost no one is up to post OBS for. We are a sick bunch of people, who live in a painful area for the thing we love the most.
ravensrule
he is north of the superband but little doubt he has at least 0.5" now..I think he gets 2" He might even shut off old reruns of the love boat for that.

wxmeddler
You have 3/4 of an inch in Pasadena already, not bad. Where do you live in the dena (approx). I live less than 5-7 miles from you max and I don't think I've even passed a half inch. Edit: you were probably under that power plant micro band. KAOS
Where do you live in the dena (approx). I live less than 5-7 miles from you max and I don't think I've even passed a half inch. Off of Mountain Road.
wxmeddler
Off of Mountain Road. Like down by Gibson island or more by the Marley Station mall? Edit: I'm guessing purely by radar you are about 1/2 to a mile NW of the intersection of Solley Rd and Mountain Road.
KAOS
Like down by Gibson island or more by the Marley Station mall? Between the two...closer to Gibson Island. I grew up in Severna Park.
KAOS
I am hoping for a couple more little bands. It would be nice to get an inch, I see the returns to the south look much nicer. Who stays up for an inch of snow?....I (we) should seek help/counseling.
Jebman
That green band is sliding east. It just missed me by a hair. I have extremely fine pixie dust and about a third of an inch of snow I wanted a piece of that band so bad it hurt
