GaStorm
My station is about 8 miles east of Lawrenceville. 30.6ºF right now with a 27.2ºF wet bulb. Not good. So whatever does fall will certainly stick around on the roads. Wish Gwinnett county schools would of closed early.

superjames1992
OMG, Burger, if that's ZR, we're going to get crushed in the Triad. This could be comparable with December 2002 here (1/2" ZR here plus 2.5" of snow/sleet which probably won't happen, though).

Cold Rain
Burger, it looks a little behind, if that's four hours from now. If that's how the radar is going to look in four hours, the NWS needs to issue WSWs or Ice Storm Warnings stat.
CoolBreeze
Here's a link to a very impressive interactive wind speed/direction map that I think Dacula? posted yesterday. You can click on the map and zoom... look at the winds near the Triad and west towards the mountains. You can see how the wind directions are changing and why we're getting the ZR. Thanks Dacula!!!
