stormtrackertf
2.8" of snow so far, looks like the rest should be mostly IP/FZR with the convective nature of the moisture streaming in from the west.

cyclone77
My weather station caught a couple of decent gravity waves earlier this afternoon. Pretty impressive rise/fall of around 3mb with both waves. It did get pretty windy out there a few times, and this was probably why. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/12/gravitywaves.jpg/'>

michsnowfreak
Winter wonderland outside....roads are a disaster. It seems like more snow than it actually is here. Had 2.0" here, which is about 5 times more than DTX forecast but I feel a bit gypped seeing those 3-4" reports to my north lol. Snowpack is now a heavy 4" to spots of 5" and getting a glaze on top after some heavy sleet now freezing rain. Cant believe we are going to see it go away for a quick torch then right back to the deepfreeze. Tonights 2.0" puts me at exactly 20.0" on the season to date. The kid in me decided to make a big pile...lets see if it survives the torch lol

michsnowfreak
se mi has to be the king of the midwest at doing nickle and dime storms right just a nick and dime magnet, nice. yessir. And while its a mix, the last few years Id say we usually overperform rather than underperform in many of the 6-7" or less snowfalls. NOW...time to keep that karma going when a GHD type of storms makes an appearance.

We got to squeeze out as much as we can lol. Usually the bigger events (8+) stay to our west.
DAFF
Are the temps still in line with previous forecasts? Pouring rain here, icing is quickly forming on any plowed surfaces.
