Have some light snow falling here now for the past few minutes. Seems to wanna get going and then slackens off a bit again. It is trying.

That's the way it was here. Give it about 20 minutes to really get going!

Just had a brief sleet shower.

With the onset of the warmth during the nightime hours the time line to icing conditions might be a little skewed. Temp breaking 32deg at 2am @DTW and temps near 40 at 8am. I'm thinking the icing conditions will last sometime into the morning and relax around 7am.  Even then it might take some tiime for the accumulated ice to melt off.

Im thinking this is going to be a fun night ahead. Three of my clients are open till 3am with lots of foot traffic. Very glad I presalted this AM in preparing for tonight.

Snow/sleet looks like it's already on Detroit's doorstep. Extrapolating, I'm thinking the 8-9z start time here in Toronto is too slow.

Nah, that's probably right. It's been a virga fest here. I'm just now starting to get precip. I've been expecting it to start for the past 2 1/2hrs.
