chris21
The dryslot on radar was really misleading out here in pocahontas county in hillsboro we have about two and a half inches new with a nice band about to pivot thru. Then well turn to upslope.

gymengineer
The models are bad, but not *that* bad. I love how folks seriously thought they were going to be completely whiffed an hour and a half ago. The precip is probably overdone by all three (NAM, GFS, Euro), but they weren't likely to all be completely wrong 6 hours before the start of the event. Jebman
Some of the moisture on the north periphery of the dry slot has worked south. Light snow is picking back up. Car top, street, sidewalk all turning white EDIT: The street is covered with snow melting chemicals. The street is wet. At least my sidewalk is white. North Balti Zen
Just so very light in downtown Balt, if it snowed like this for a year, it might accumulate.
WxUSAF
Just so very light in downtown Balt, if it snowed like this for a year, it might accumulate. Surprising. I'm at JHU campus and it's coming down quite nicely. Close to 1/2" I'd say by eyeball.

I'm a huge fan of never giving up even when radar sucks because things often fill in and back build and rotate and develop. Never felt good about this one though. Nice to see some steady snow even if it shuts off quickly.
