wxmeddler
So are they dendrites or plates? I got dendrites here. A few dime sized ones right now.
WinterWxLuvr
The RAP seems like a pretty good model to me. It's showing several more hours of measurable precip, especially down in the cities.
North Balti Zen
Flurries have progressed to extremely light snow now, holding out hope for the inch mark in Balt. Which should measure around a foot at BWI...

Jebman
I'm smack dab in the center of the snow hole. Think I'll stick with persistence and expect a coating on my car top and maybe a coating on my sidewalk and driveway before the snow shuts off at 6pm. Then I get to look forward to a massive warmup with the obligatory proper heavy rainstorm with copious amounts of gulf moisture. Enjoy the heavy accumulating snows south VA, Maryland and Pennsylvania. I hope you all get 10 inches of snow.

I fear my salt accumulation will outstrip my snow ones. I think you'd do OK. When I looked at Bob's radar earlier I thought I'd do OK. I think I'll get some but am not going to get the .10 liquid that the models had over me. From the city north they might.

usedtobe
When it comes down hard it's dendrites but otherwise its plates. That makes sense. After my original post I looked at the cool weather vert vel and temps and saw there was decent uvv in the dendrite zone for awhile but it was pretty high up.
