swimmatte
DT calling for a DC dry slot bust I saw that! Even posted the possibility! It is gonna be drier in some spots! Who cares what he says, he roots for DC dry slots
Ian
No more "snow hole" laments until people understand how radar works. or till the next time we see one.. which should be about 12 years given how often it snows here
chris21
I don't know if this helps you all out at all, but we've had moderate to heavy snow in hillsboro, wv (southern pocahontas county) since about 11 am, an inch and a half new. The radar has not been showing anything really because of the extremely mountainous terrain.
Bob Chill
Bob, if you're in Rockville you should be seeing snow soon. It's commenced just to your North. Yep, got some free radicals weaving through the trees.

RIC_WX
Dry powdery light snow in Leesburg. Not sure if it can overcome the 0.1" of salt accumulated on the roads from yesterday morning's event however.

RevWarReenactor
Flurries up here on the MD/DE border near the delaware toll plaza on I-95. Kind of surprised it hasn't started down there since the radar echos seem stronger in DC/Baltimore.

Disc
Man, had a nice burst-- radar is RACING SE away from LYH and ROA. Maybe a half inch or so. Not too bad of an event here in ROA. Snow rates were much harder than I expected.

WVsnowlover
Very light snow in Charles Town finally. Earlier flurries were short lived. Was hoping to sneak out 2" today, but think we will be lucky to make it to an inch.
87storms
DT calling for a DC dry slot bust i could be wrong, of course, but i don't think we're gonna dry slot here. the radar is filling in as the energy from the northern stream approaches from the northwest. we have waa out ahead of it, so just need a little extra lift. i still think we can get an inch here. famous last words.
