J.Mike
If radar shows it's snowing, but we never actually get snow, is this a new type of weather event? Maybe we could call it: Ji-snow
Kmlwx
Hole is starting to close... snow should be close. I can't find the reason why we deal with snow holes almost every storm. Is it geographical or as some say because of "corn dust" Have you not been reading the thread This really needs to stop people.

Bob Chill
I'm feeling pretty good about a bust in immediate DC metro...maybe a brief period (20 minutes) of light snow and a dusting? Idk zwts. u should be good for 2 hours at least. Can't say what that amounts to on the ground though.

Huffwx
I am still not quite at an inch but snowing extremely heavy again in my backyard. Big flakes and good consistency. Where did we see this-- decent band hugging 460 and just south. I'm sweating a bit here in LYH. We've got a good coating and decent light snow that will accumulate. 1 inch or bust roads are covered. Ian
i think we're ok in dc. the "dry slot" to the sw is troublesome but most of the radar returns are moving more easterly and there's plenty of them going back to our west in WV.
Huffwx
I'm feeling pretty good about a bust in immediate DC metro...maybe a brief period (20 minutes) of light snow and a dusting? I like the format on your FB page-- the percentages. Unless you trademark it, may integrate that into blog. Dry air wasn't an issue here-- like 20 minutes into radar reflections we starting spitting snow. Took about an hour to get to " accumulating" light snow.
