There was tons of salt already on the road from the previous "storm". None of it washed away so they had a head start on this one.

Radar really filling in nicely over here(upper eastern shore). 22F with Moderate snow, close to 3/4". Mount Holly mentioned some 3 inch amounts possible here over to SNJ due to mid atmospheric forcing. Not sure about that, but I will be happy with and inch or two. Already the most snow I have seen this winter.

Same conditions IMBY -- and while I would've preferred to receive more than the .1" to .2" that has accrued on paved surfaces, the combination of conditions that mitchnick describes is, well, just a bit sublime. BTW, it's 22 degrees.
