...SLIPPERY CONDITIONS EXPECTED TONIGHT...

LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO FALL ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH MIDNIGHT

AS LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPING SOUTH OF LONG ISLAND TRACKS NORTHEAST.

SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO AN INCH ARE EXPECTED IN NORTHEAST NEW

JERSEY...NYC...SOUTHWEST CONNECTICUT AND AND SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF

THE LOWER HUDSON VALLEY. LESS THAN 1/2 INCH IS EXPECTED IN

NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE LOWER HUDSON VALLEY. THE SNOW WILL TAPER

OFF FROM WEST TO EAST THIS EVENING.

AREAS OF SLIPPERY TRAVEL WILL EXIST TONIGHT WITH BRIEFLY REDUCED

VISIBILITY TO ONE HALF MILE IN HEAVIER BANDS OF SNOWFALL. BE

PREPARED FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING ROAD CONDITIONS AND SLIPPERY

STRETCHES OF PAVEMENT THIS EVENING.

NARROW BANDS OF MODERATE TO BRIEFLY HEAVY SNOW ARE TRACKING

EASTWARD FROM EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA AND NEW JERSEY.

SNOWFALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE BETWEEN 1 TO 3 INCHES WITH

THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS ON THE TWIN FORKS OF LONG ISLAND AND NEW

LONDON COUNTY IN CONNECTICUT...BEFORE TAPERING OFF LATE TONIGHT.

AREAS OF SLIPPERY TRAVEL WILL EXIST TONIGHT WITH BRIEFLY REDUCED

VISIBILITY TO ONE HALF MILE IN HEAVIER BANDS OF SNOWFALL. BE

PREPARED FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING ROAD CONDITIONS AND VERY SLIPPERY

STRETCHES OF PAVEMENT THIS EVENING.
