Which snowbelt?

The "recent" (21st century-- NOT any time before that.) past, Central-East Long Island has been a major snowbelt past 12 years. We can look at Upton alone and see how high the snow totals have been. I remember 80s when we always transitioned to rain. Since 2001 (March) out east we've done well. I think William can support this.

Looks like some nice returns and line forming east of st college. Hopefully that holds together.

Agree... That arcing band will fill in thru I- 78 come east  and thats the band that will lay down some snow onto Long Island later

That band organizing just to my southeast looks like the real deal (i.e., not virga).

Anyone just east or south of Upton got any reports?  I can imagine snow on the roads around mastic shirley already based on that radar.

..just had a nice burst of moderate snow..everything covered..roads still wet.

down to 31.3* here in eastport..still snowing pretty good.
