Shadowzone Posted January 22, 2013 Share Posted January 22, 2013 Given that I have moved some, I'll provide multiple favorites: Blizzard of February 1978 (while a college student at MIT) - closed down Eastern MA for a week, incredible snows and coastal flooding Feb 1987 (while working in Newport News, VA) President's Day 2003 (while working @ Pentagon) - I drove from Philly to Alexandria in the height of the storm - crazy not to have left the evening before - made the last 120 miles in 6 hours, recall incredible depth at the I-95 Rest Stop between Baltimore and DC Dec 2009 (in Crozet VA) - started at 4:30 p.m. - had 11 inches by 11 p.m. and finished with 22 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
