I don't see it!! looks like to me everything to our sw is moving almost due east.. Maybe it comes close too eastern Suffolk later but I don't see anything West of there. Not really sure why Upton has western Nassau at 1.5 we'll be lucky if we see that many flakes...

Upton:

GUIDANCE IN GOOD AGREEMENT ON THE TIMING OF THE SYSTEM TONIGHT ALONG

WITH QPF AMOUNTS. AN UPPER SHORTWAVE TRACKS TOWARDS THE AREA THIS

EVENING AS A SURFACE LOW DEVELOPS OVER THE TENNESSEE VALLEY. AS THE

SHORTWAVE CONTINUES TO DIG EAST...A SECONDARY LOW FORMS OFF THE

CAROLINA COAST. THIS LOW BECOMES THE PRIMARY SOURCE OF QPF...ALL

SNOW...TONIGHT AND THE CWA IS ON THE NORTHERN FRINGE OF THIS.

EXPECT SNOW TO BEGIN AROUND 5-6PM FOR FAR WESTERN ZONES AND TRACK

QUICKLY EAST AND BE OUT OF THE AREA BY 4-5AM. QPF AMOUNTS FOR THIS

EVENT ARE VERY LIGHT...0.05-0.1 OF AN INCH. WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE

LOWER 20S OVERNIGHT AND THE COLUMN SATURATED MOSTLY WITH RESPECT TO

ICE...EXPECT SNOW-LIQUID RATIOS TO BE AROUND 20:1. THIS WILL RESULT

IN A LIGHT AND DRY SNOW ACCUMULATION OF HALF INCH TO AN INCH OUT

WEST AND 1-2 INCHES OVER LONG ISLAND AND SOUTHEAST CONNECTICUT.

AREAS ON THE EAST END OF LONG ISLAND COULD SEE CLOSER TO TWO INCHES.

Upton

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL OF ONE TO TWO INCHES IS POSSIBLE THIS EVENING INTO THE OVERNIGHT PERIOD WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS ON EASTERN LONG ISLAND. IT IS COLD ENOUGH THAT THE SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE AND MAY CAUSE SLIPPERY TRAVEL ON UNTREATED ROADWAYS.
