Well in Brockton and then definitely in Marshfield I know what it's like. Even this 1" they have in Hanover...it just feels so much more wintry.

You guys deserve it out there. People don't remember how patient you were while 30 miles NW got blasted. Same with messenger.

Same here. 15 miles too far southeast in 2010/2011..and about 30 miles too far north in 09/10. Though everyone shared the pain that year in SNE.

Note: both seasons ended up slightly above average regardless..so I don't want to come off as whiney

10/11 was just strange out here. we did "OK" from a seasonal perspective but just got hosed relative to what happened for the rest of the region. it's not very often BOS gets thumped like that and it leaves virtually nothing down here...especially later in the season.

The storm on the 20th helped out with seasonal totals. Boxing day seemed to set the trend for the rest of the season down here..so close to joining in on the fun but no cigar.

yeah...at least boxing day flipped back over and had a decent finish.

i don't mind taint / changeover storms if they flip back and/or leave snow on the ground. those early and mid jan ones were painful though because they were tracking over us which doesn't allow the "backlash" stuff to come overhead. instead it just ends.

when they stay offshore, even if they go to liquid, they usually go back over and tend to have front end snows.

GFS is going to be decent

Yeah, starts right away.  Based on the 12z Euro Ens...and now this, weenies are straightening all over SNE.

I really like where you sit, liking more where I sit but want to make sure this isn't the NCEP models flopping around again first.   They overshot each of the last two systems for a time.

Winds off the water with these temps...

Also...wonder too about some hang back moisture as the last s/w dives in.
