OSUmetstud
I am getting tired of the constant "pattern looks great for the next two weeks" garbage. We have been going with that mantra since the beginning of June... Fast-forward to Spring pls... Here we go! This is lookin good...trending as we thought. I will start at 3-6 for all of SNE...could adjust upward pending Euro... lol wtf

CoastalWx
There is almost a mini comma head over SE MA and esp Cape Cod predawn Saturday. Good RH in the mid levels into NNE, but naturally you fight dry air underneath that. That's a great look for PYM to ACK.
It's Always Sunny
Starting to feel guilt for prematurely punting this system yesterday (which I never do!). It's one of those feelings you get when you do something mean to someone like pushing a kid down in a sandbox just to realize what you did was wrong 10 minutes later. weatherMA
Relax weenies. THIS. Most of the interior has around average snowfall and a lot of places in southern CT have above average snowfall. The amount of complaining on here for above average snowfall...wow. Inside 128 has right to complain but even the cape must be close to average...or they will be after this storm. ORH_wxman
GGEM looks pretty awful...maybe coating to an inch for the Cape. Its a lot different than the RGEM by 48 hours...RGEM much slower with the energy which obviously gives it more time to amplify a bit. Less time to amplify = GGEM solution. ashesj
Hey peeps, I think Matt Noyes may be on to something, remember, models are only mathametical gueses about what the atmosphere may look like in the coming days. I like the fact that you like the upcoming pattern and flow. Its noon and 14 degrees and most folks have snow on the ground. Maybe they want the 47, 49, 56 run we had last year this week with over an inch of rain.I do not get it.

Typhoon Tip
you can definitely see, though, how relaying more strength of the Pacific is enticing the N stream to better involvement - if we can just get that impulse to be THAT much stronger, it would get more N stream to really phase in... Really need that phase to help slow down this thing - otherwise, just moving too fast.
