This is true but "weenies" is every year with every storm

"We Cranky" would be a better motto. Most are making the best of it and having some laughs.

Today's models suck. Hopefully they turn around but it may turn out to be more of a glancing blow/SE Mass kind of deal.

Careful you'll be labeled a weenie.

We ve seen this countless times over the yrs only to have the seasonal NW trend come back 3 days and under. Maybe this is the time that doesn't happen, but our money is against that

Yeah NW trends do happen but they don't happen all the time. After your atrocious month of forecasting you should chill with the bets lol.

Stay the goddamn course. 12-18 incoming..

;)

these tempered approaches ARE people staying the course.  Progressive, low PF events have been the course this year and it continues to be the same except now its much colder.  Warm dry pattern turns to cold dry pattern...that's the course we are staying on.  Even if this takes the perfect track for the northeast I-95 corridor the flow is so progressive that it is at best a stripe of 3-6 inches.

Thanks. I have my moments. Let's hope I continue to have my moments through the first half of Feb.

It was a pretty sick snowfall for 20-30 minutes last night.

I still find it hilarious that this storm was being modeled and argued (friday storm) by mets to be a north / interior track.

Yeah and the key was bringing this next shortwave down through the midwest/northeast for Wed and Thursday, instead of holding it back in canada like some of those cutter/cold front type runs from last week were showing..the whole end of the week trended much colder, including the storm system for friday, as soon as models latched onto that idea for good.

i'll be pretty dissapointed if this friday system falls apart now, but I'm still liking the mod event (call it 3-6") type deal despite the meh set of runs today..
