It was weird to watch my car thermometer as I drove home; the low was an indicated 41 around Lexington.Anyway, temp dropping pretty quickly here. Local station down from 44.8 to 44.3 as I type this. Snow is occurring across southwest Virginia... the northern mountains and foothills of North Carolina... and the portion of southeast West Virginia generally south of Interstate 64. Many locations within this region can expect snow to fall at the rate of one inch per hour through at least the next few hours.
