LiQuiDBuD
Pathetic showing IMBY. Fifteen minutes of beautiful heavy snow and another fifteen of flurries then gradual clearing. I've got 1/4" to show for it. Regardless, I'm glad my 19-month old daughter finally got to see some real snow falling and definitely glad some folks to my east are hitting the jackpot. Enjoy! WilkesboroDude
3 inches of snow reported in Wilkesboro...on top of the 4-8 inches of rain we have experienced. Trees are coming down but could be much worse.
jburns
I got that too. Usually reserved for rain storms. It's the snow that is on the dish not in the air.
NCWeSU
It's all snow here in Cary, but only light to moderate. We're in a lull in the radar. I think this is actually a good sign as it looks like the snow will continue even if the precip isn't falling at a high rate. Very small flakes

WxKnurd
Temp is dropping as well 34.5 . Seems to be all around me right now but still no switch over just a few flakes mixing in and maybe some sleet! I don't even have mixing over here yet. Oh well, que sera sera. The good thing is I won't have to worry about not getting back into a duck hunting spot on Mtn Island Lake Saturday morning, instead I'll be worrying if I can get out and wade. The rain train continues here, at least the wind has calmed down.
Ernest T Bass
It's the snow that on the dish not in the air. Yeah, I was thinking that too because it has been that way for some time. It usually does not stick to the dish like that.
Jalba
Back to all rain here in Southern Alexander county. Pretty wild on those reports coming in. Definitely very limited in areas seeing accumulation. 2, 3, 4" reports just to my north with maybe only 0.5" here at best, and rain now melting some of that. burgertime
Bigger flakes mixing in...no major street lights near but I can just see one off in the distance and it looks good. I have a lot of trees overhead so maybe it's better than my floodlight is showing.

KeepPounding
Hoping that heavier precip west of here will help turn this to all snow. Would love to squeeze an inch out of this.

magpiemaniac
Still 32 in GSO. Snow really hasn't let up since the changeover earlier this evening. Eyeballing the table on the back deck, I'd say a smidgen over 2" so far not including what might have melted during the initial changeover.
