After 25 years of getting screwed,  I finally get jack potted in the middle of the strongest deformation axis in the Southeast  for the last 2 hours. Wouldn’t you know my luck, A nice little warm bubble from 900mb down is keeping everything rain. I’ve recieved 6/10ths of rain in the last hour.... ughhhhhhh!!!

Well snow was short-lived. Pouring rain again here near AVL with temp of 36. Radar returns not doing what the RAP suggested, so I am thinking this may be a non-event for the valleys. Places north and east will do great. Congrats to those seeing snow!

Otherwise it's just massive standing water everywhere around here...

I think something that could possibly being over looked right now even for places not seeing snow is the fact that the roads will be extremely icy in the morning with temps dipping down into the low 20's over night for nearly everyone.  That may be the real hazard even in places not seeing snow.
