I want to comment on the wind,too. I've lived in this house for 2 years, after spending my entire life on the Outer Banks. In the 2 years I've lived here I have never heard the wind hit my big living room window like it is right now. Reminds me of home.

 

Anyway...temp is falling quick. Down to 41 with steady rain and wind.

It's in that intermediate phase. It mixs for a few mins then it's all rain then it mixes. Looking at the short range models, i think most everyone NW of charlotte will changeover by 8pm and then a solid 4 hours of heavy snow.

Well, out ot CLT West.. We are waiting with flashlights hoping not to need them :)

People always panic about this time. Let's just see if things progress. Changeover time for Triad was always though to be 6-8pm. For the Triangle 9-10pm. Let's see if the trends hold.
