In city of Richmond, its snowing, but not a bit sticking to pavement, not even sidewalks. So maybe a dusting on grass and mulch and lots of melting. NOVa folks not missing out on much at all

Looks to me that you have a few more good hours of decent snowfall down there.  I would not give up hope yet for accum.

Yeah, my accumulation about the same as it was during the thundersnow, even though I am showing 32 the ground temp is taking a lot of fun out of this.  Still snowing but it needed to stay at the rates we saw from 5:30 to 7:00 for us to be able to sniff that 5 inches.  But, hey, what we lack for accumulation in this event, it made up for with the most thundersnow in an event around here since December 2005.

DC crew didn't miss much.  Things are winding down for me with a little over an inch and a half.  Of course 4-8 was predicted as late as this evening's forecast.  Not sure what happened.  I think rain ate up a lot of the qpf but things just never got going. Never saw any really heavy rates.  Oh well at least I didn't track this for a week or more just to get this.

3/4" underneath melting is a killer these are awesome rates though

The top ground layer should cool quickly. If your temp drops to near 32 you should be ok. Is the vis low? Wondering if you just have massive aggregates falling meaning lower 1000' or so

Is still warm.
