mreaves
Great photos. Is this the opposite of the typical ski resort with the village at the top of the mountain instead of at the base? I couldn't really see any trails above the hotel. Here in VT development is really restricted above 2500'.
Avdave
Great photos. Is this the opposite of the typical ski resort with the village at the top of the mountain instead of at the base? I couldn't really see any trails above the hotel. Here in VT development is really restricted above 2500'. Thanks. All development is at the top of the mountain, along the ridge line. It is an awesome ski resort. Most resorts have their bases at the bottom of the mountain this is a rare sight in the mid atlantic. I think Beech Mtn in NC may be at the summit too. But that is over 5K feet high down there in Western NC
