it looks like there are weenies bands developing from north central nh over into central maine and then another one from around portland back to concord.  If those continue to develop and back build, as they have been doing, it could get fun.  Haven't measured but I am sure we are at least at 3 inches.

They continue to back build but not sure they're gonna make it this far east, we'll see. Just about 3.5" OTG still very light snow without much radar echoes.

I'm thinking that band across the mountains is related to that really deep DGZ that the SREF were keying on yesterday.

Yeah, I think that area is going to end up doing well. It was starting to rip when I began what turned out to be a nearly 3-hour bus ride to Boston, and now I'm sitting here watching the drizzle while it snows IMBY. That'll be nice to come home to.

Worse. We deserve to cry, he doesn't.

it is all relative.  we had 150 inches the year before I got here 07-08, then 08-09 dropped somewhere around 100 or more I think.  So I'm spoiled.  Yes we did get the 1/12/11 death band, and the Halloween death band...and as you point out we get 8 inches on .3qpf sometimes...but it is always "what have you done for me lately".  I have full empathy for you..

i think having Bryce though has increased your crying....it's transference.
